Digital escape rooms are my favorite way to have students review key terms and ideas for a topic.

A digital escape room is a great way to involve students in an immersive experience.  Students are presented with a task and cannot move onto the next task without discovering the correct 'key' to unlock the digital locks. The tasks include a mixture of problem solving, cryptic messages, logic puzzles and scientific content to challenge students. The spooky Halloween themes make it the perfect time to use them!

The activity contains a set of digital task cards students must complete in order to 'escape'.

Answers are entered into a Google Form (provided). The task cards are included digitally within the Google Form, but a printable pdf version is also included for you.

What is needed to access the Halloween activities for middle school ?

Students need access to a device with internet access and a Google account (students can get a Google account for free).  The 2-player game uses a Google Sheet, so it will ask students to log in to save the activity to their Google Drive. The digital escape rooms do not require a Google login.
